I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above is a true Abstract of the Receipts and Expenditure of the Public Revenue of the Province of Wellington for the period commencing on the first day of July, and ending on the thirtieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy, and further that the said Expenditure has been properly classified, and that any part thereof which has been incurred without authority of the Appropriation Act is separately shown.

Mungaroa Highway District.

NOTICE is hereby given to this office, that at a meeting of the ratepayers of the above district, held on the 15th inst., the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens, viz.:—

Mr. James Orrickshank, Treasurer,
„ Jas. Brown, junr.,
„ Geo. Whiteman,
„ Jno. Wilkins,
„ Isaac Wilkins, Chairman.

Also, that Mr. William Wallis was appointed Assessor, and Mr. Henry Ashton, Collector, and Messrs. William Lawrence and Thomas Waldin, Auditors.

Proposed Middle Highway Tukapu District.

Wellington, Nov. 22, 1870.

IT is hereby notified that application has been made to His Honor the Deputy Superintendent to proclaim a highway district to consist of the following sections viz.:—

Sections Nos. 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, Tukapu District, and 107, Porirua District.

And notice is hereby further given, that at the expiration of six months from this date, it is His Honor's intention to proclaim the proposed highway district, and the necessary alterations in the Tukapu Highway District, should no sufficient objection be meanwhile raised to his doing so.

Proposed alteration of Karori-Makara Highway District.

Wellington, Nov. 23, 1870.

NOTICE is hereby given, that at the expiration of six months from this date, it is His Honor's intention to proclaim the necessary alteration in the boundaries of the above district, caused by the proposed Upper Kaiwarra Road District, providing no sufficient objection be meanwhile raised to his doing so.
