IT has been notified to this office, that at a meeting of the ratepayers of the above district, held on the 5th inst., the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens :-

IT has been notified to this office by the Inspector of sheep for the East Coast district, that he has received notice of scab in the following flocks :-

Mr Thomas Guthrie Castle Point, Okau Flock. Dated 3rd, October, 1870.

Mr Duncan Cameron, Blairlogie. Certificate cancelled 12th, October, 1870.

Mr Edwin Meredith, Riversdale. Certificate cancelled, wether flock, 10th October, 1870.

Sheep Inspector's Report.

Wellington, Nov. 10, 1870.

NOTICE has been given to this Office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wellington district, that he has cancelled the clean certificates of the undermentioned flockowners :

Mr. Frank Smith, Paikakariki ; portion of flock.

Messrs. A. & J. Wall, Pukurua.

Mr. Jas. Wall, Porirua Ferry.

And that on the 18th Oct. he granted a clean certificate to

Mr. Frank Smith, for a separate flock of wethers in paddock,

Also that he has examined the flock of Mr. C. Fisher on the Island of Mana, and finds them perfectly free from scab.
