NOTICE is hereby given that a plan of the above District, the Boundaries of which were described in Gazette, No 15, of July 11th, 1870, has been deposited at this Office for inspection by those interested.

NOTICE has been given to this Office that at a meeting of the above named District, held on the 1st instant, the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens, viz:—

THE following circular letter has been issued to the Chairmen of the several Road Boards throughout the Province, and as the division of the sum apportioned to the Province of Wellington is delayed until the receipt of the information required, Chairmen of Road Boards are requested to forward copies at as early a date as possible.

Sir,—The General Government have requested certain information prior to the division of the sum of £5,000 apportioned to the Province of Wellington for the year ending 30th June, 1871, to be divided among the various Road Boards; I have, therefore, the honor to annex certain questions, to which I shall be glad if you reply at an early date, informing me, also, if any works are in contemplation on which, in the opinion of the Board, the Government grant should be expended.

IT has been noticed to this Office that at a meeting of the ratepayers of the above district held on the 1st inst., the following persons were elected a School Committee viz:—
