Proclamation.
By His Honor William Waring Taylor, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.
I WILLIAM WARING TAYLOR Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington do hereby in pursuance of the regulations in this behalf proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situate in the Waitotara district in the Province of Wellington and specified in the Schedule hereto except such as may be reserved under the provision hereinafter mentioned will be put up for sale by public auction at the Crown Lands office in the Town of Wellington on FRIDAY the twenty-third day of September one thousand eight hundred and seventy at one o'clock in the afternoon.
If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the Schedule or to vary the order in which they are to be put up he is hereby authorised to do so.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this seventeenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

IT has been notified to this office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa District that he has cancelled the clean certificate of the following flock owners:β
Mr. CHARLES DAKIN,
on the 26th July, 1870.
Mr. HUGH MCMASTERS,
on the 26th July, 1870, for the whole of his flocks at Tupurupuru.
Also that he has granted a clean certificate to
Mr. JOHN JURY,
for the whole of his flock on the 27th July, 1870.
