Wanganui Odd Fellows’ Grant.

IT is hereby intimated, at the request of the Loyal Wanganui Lodge, No. 4738, that the following gentlemen have been appointed the Trustees in succession, for the site of the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Wanganui, as provided for by the Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, Session XII, No. 5, viz. :

Messrs. John Armstrong, Sen.
Thomas Bamber
Peter Ballantine

Mataongaonga Road District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it has been notified to this office that at an annual general meeting of ratepayers of the Mataongaonga Road District, held at the Red Lion Inn, Campbelltown, on the 15th September, the following were elected Wardens for the above district :

Mr. John McGregor
,, David Strachan
,, John Duncan
,, William McGrail
,, Robert Gray
,, Lawrence Daniel, Chairman.

And that at an adjourned meeting held at the same place on the 15th October, a general rate of one penny per acre was levied, and

Mr. David Strachan

elected Chairman, in the place of Mr. L. Daniel resigned.
