West Masterton School District.

Wellington, 25th June, 1869.
IT has been notified to this office that at a meeting of the Electors of West Masterton School District, held in the Schoolroom on Saturday, the 12th instant, a rate of £1 per house was levied for the support of the School. The following gentlemen were elected a School Committee—

J. Tavener
R. D. Dagg
L. J. Evans
S. G. Prentice
Robert Hare
H. Crayne (Chairman) and

was appointed Collector of such rate.

THE following Acts passed by the Provincial Council and assented to by the Superintendent of the Province of Wellington intituled:
"The Appropriation Act 1869-70."
"An Act to amend the Volunteer Free Grants Act 1867."
"An Act to enable the Superintendent to sell certain lots of Reclaimed land without again being put up for Public Auction"
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance in respect of them.

Election of Wardens, Foxton Road Board.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 19th June, 1869.
IT has been notified to this office that at a meeting of the Ratepayers of the enlarged Foxton Road District held on the 27th May, it was unanimously resolved that the old Board of Wardens should remain in office until the expiration of the two years for which they were elected, viz, 24th December, 1869, and that one Warden be elected to represent the new portion of the district for the same period. Mr. Ernest Thynne was thereupon elected, the Board now consisting as under:
