Amended Boundaries of the “Foxton Highway District.”
PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor Isaac Earl Featherston Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.
ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the Foxton Highway District as proclaimed by a Proclamation under my hand and under the public seal of the Province of Wellington dated the twentieth day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven are amended as follows:
viz., commencing at a point on the right or East bank of the River Manawatu where the production of the boundary line between sections Nos. 244 and 245 in the Township of Foxton would strike the said River Bank and thence running in a Southerly and Easterly direction along the right bank of the River Manawatu as far as the Eastern boundary of Kebbells’ section at Haumearoa thence in a Northerly direction along said Eastern boundary of Kebbells’ section to its extremity and thence in a straight line to the South-East corner of Section No. 256 in the township of Foxton at Te Mukaka, thence along Eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 256 and 255 to the Southern boundary of Section No. 436 thence in a Westerly direction along the Southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 436, 437, 438, 439, 440, 441, and crossing a line of road proceeding along the Northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 376, 377, 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 203, 202, 201, 200, 199, 198, 292, 291, 290, 289, 288, 287, 286, 285, 284, 283, 282, 281, 250 and 244 in the Township of Foxton and thence to the starting point on the bank of the River Manawatu as the said amended boundaries are more particularly delineated and described in the plan annexed hereto and colored red.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this eighteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
