PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent
of the Province of Wellington,
in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by the Land Regulations
now in force in the Province of
Wellington it is provided that it shall be
the duty of the Superintendent to make in
every district a Reserve not exceeding one
thirtieth part of the public lands for the
purposes of Education: Now therefore I
Isaac Earl Featherston Superintendent of
the Province of Wellington do hereby pro-
claim and declare in virtue of such provi-
sion that the sections in the Turakina
District bounded on the north by Allison’s
land on the east by Crown land and on the
south by Crown land and by land belong-
ing to Wilson and Bowen and on the west
by Tollemache’s land as more particularly
described and delineated on the tracing
hereto annexed and containing two hun-
dred and twelve acres or thereabouts is
hereby reserved and set apart by me for
the purposes of Education.

under the Public Seal of the
Province of Wellington at
Wellington this first day of
March one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-nine.
