NOTICE has been given to this Office, under the hand of Mr. B. P. Perry, Chairman, that at a general meeting of the ratepayers of the Taratahi Road District, held on the 17th day of October last, Mr. R. Fairbrother was elected a Warden in the place of Mr. Hirschberg resigned. Mr. Thomas Hooker and Mr. Wm. Anderson were elected Auditors, and Mr. F. A. May was elected Collector.

NOTICE is hereby given to this Office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa District, that the clean certificate for his flock, held by Mr. James Smith, Wainuioru, Wairarapa, has been cancelled, in consequence of a mixture with sheep from a scabby flock.

NOTICE has been given to this Office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wellington District, that a flock of mixed sheep in possession of Mr. Wm. Luxford, sen., Berhampore, has this day received a clean certificate.

THE Inspector of Sheep in the Wairarapa District has reported to this Office as follows, under date 21st inst., that he has cancelled the clean certificate held by Mr. D. McLachlan of Spring Bank, two scabby sheep having trespassed into his flock from Tupurupuru; also that he has cancelled the clean certificates held by Messrs. Knight, Wingate, H. Burley, jun., and Kelleher, scabby sheep having trespassed into their flocks from that of Mr. Brannigan, and further that he has given Mr. B. P. Perry a clean certificate for his western flock.

Alteration in the Boundaries of the Makara School District.

APPLICATION having been made to alter the boundaries of the Makara School District, so as to withdraw therefrom such lands as are comprised within the North Makara Highways District, for the purpose of forming a North Makara School District coterminous with the said North Makara Highway District, Notice is hereby given that such Application will be granted at the expiration of six months from the date hereof unless sufficient reason to the contrary be meanwhile shown.
