Sittings of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Wellington, 2nd Nov., 1868.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Sitting of the Circuit Court of the Supreme Court for the Wellington District of New Zealand, for the despatch of criminal and civil business, will be holden at the Court House, in the Supreme Court Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Tuesday, the first day of December next at ten o\'clock in the forenoon, pursuant to proclamation, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizancess—prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants—are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the civil cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday the eighth day of December next, at ten o\'clock in the forenoon, to which time the sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the criminal business.

The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of December next, at eleven o\'clock in the forenoon.

"Supplementary Appropriation Act, 1868;
"Wanganui Freemasons\' Grant Act, 1868;
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency had not been advised to excercise his power of disallowance in respect of them.

IT has been notified to this Office by W. H. Donald, Inspector of Sheep, that on the 8th October a clean certificate was given to Mr. Burnett, of Te Witi, for his flock; also that the ewe flock belonging to Mr. Meredith are declared to be scabby.
