I ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON Superintendent of the Province of Wellington as aforesaid, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that such portion of the said Province as is comprised within the following boundaries shall form a district for the purposes of the said Act to be called the "Mataongaonga School District," and that the said Act shall come into operation in the said district on the day of the date hereof:—
commencing at the junction of the Kuhuta stream with the Wanganui river thence up said stream till it meets the division line between the Mataongaonga and the Makirikiri Road Districts, thence north-easterly along said road district line about one hundred and eleven chains thence south-easterly to the north-west corner of the Waihupu Native Reserve thence along the western boundary of that reserve to the north-east corner of application of Mr. G. McGregor thence along the division line between the Matarawa and Mataongaonga Road Districts to a low saddle in section two hundred and seventy thence along a ridge to the N.E. corner of section fifty-eight thence along the northern boundary of sections fifty-eight fifty-seven fifty-six fifty-five fifty-four and fifty-three thence easterly along a portion of the eastern boundary of 72A thence along the northern boundaries of sections fifty-two fifty-one fifty forty-nine forty-eight forty-seven forty-six forty-five forty-four and sixty to the road reserve on the Wanganui river thence up the Wanganui river along said road reserve to the starting point.

Defining Morea School District.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by a certain proclamation by His Honor CHARLES WILLIAM SONNIES Esquire Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington dated the 13th day of June 1861 a certain portion of the District of Wairarapa in the said Province was declared to be a School District under the name of the Greytown School District and under the provisions of an Act of the Provincial Council Session II. No. 6 AND WHEREAS it is expedient to alter the boundaries of the said district for the purpose of forming a new District to be called the Morea School District AND
WHEREAS the requirements of the “Education Act Amendment Act 1867” have been complied with: NOW THEREFORE I ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON Superintendent of the Province of Wellington as aforesaid in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that such portion of the said province as is comprised within the following boundaries shall form a district for the purposes of the said Act to be called the “Morea School District,” and that the said Act shall come into operation in the said district on the day of the date hereof:—
commencing at the north-west corner of section No. fifty-seven Morea Plain Block thence in a straight line to the north-west corner of section No. fifty-four, thence in a straight line to the north-east corner of section No. seventy, thence in a straight line to the south-east corner of section No. fifty-two thence along Morrison’s Bush road to the north-east corner of section No. seventeen, thence in a straight line to the south-east corner of section No. sixty-five, thence in a straight line to its south-west corner, thence in a straight line to the south-east corner of section No. fourteen, thence in a straight line to its south-west corner, thence in a straight line to its north-west corner thence along Morrison’s Bush road to the south-west corner of section No. fifty-eight thence in a straight line to the starting point.

Proposed alteration for dividing the Tawa Flat School District.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 21st September, 1868.
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to his Honor the Superintendent to alter the boundaries of the Tawa Flat School district, dividing it by a line, being the north boundary line of section 52, and a continuation of the same in a straight direction to the coast on the west, and for forming the northern portion of the divided district into a new School District to be called the Porirua Ferry School District, such district also to include adjacent sections not included within any of the present school district. And notice is hereby further given in compliance with the provisions of the Education Act Amendment Act, 1867, that at the expiration of six months from the date hereof the Tawa Flat School district will be altered accordingly, unless in the meantime sufficient cause be shown to the contrary.
