Public Notice.—Sale of 5s. Land.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 20th Jan., 1868.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered at auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Wellington, on Thursday, the 27th day of February next, at one o’clock p.m., at the upset price of 5s. per acre, viz.:—

22 sections in the Wharekaka Block in the Wairarapa District, containing 5500 acres, more or less.

20 sections in the Rangitumau Block in the Wairarapa District, containing 5000 acres, more or less.

5 sections in the Turanganui Block in the Wairarapa District, containing 1500 acres, more or less.

20 sections in the Awhea Block, in the East Coast District, containing 5000 acres, more or less.

7 sections in the Hutt District, containing 1700 acres, more or less.

Plans of the Blocks will be open for inspection at this office on and after the 15th proximo.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims on behalf of themselves and others of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several Blocks of Land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Kahiti o Niu Tireni, will be investigated at Wellington, on the 27th of January, 1868, and following days.
