9th. Ties will be decided by the Winbledon Regulations of 1866, page 3, clause 13, and all disputed points will be decided by the Senior Officer present, whose decision will be final.
10th. Should any Competitor absent himself when his turn comes to fire, he is to forfeit his chance.
11th. The Prizes will be of two classes, "Provincial" and "District". The winners of the first and second Provincial Prizes are not entitled to a District Prize. Subject to the above Rules and conditions, the following Prizes will be awarded.

Notice is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Kahiti o Niu Tirani, will be investigated at Greytown, Wairarapa, on the 12th of May next, and following days.
