The same remark partially applies to the grouping of the several departments.

The rooms should be lofty, and care should be taken to secure sufficient ventilation throughout the building. Ample provision to be made for lavatories, water, coal, and wood closets, &c.

The building to be of wood, with slate roof. The safes to be built with fire-bricks.

Designs to be addressed to the Provincial Secretary, Wellington, on or before noon of Wednesday, the 8th day of May next.
