Notice is hereby given, that at a Meeting of the Provincial Council of New Munster, held on Monday, November 8, 1852, it was resolvedβ
That the following Ordinances be published for general information:
No. 1. An Ordinance to authorize the Issue of Debentures by the Superintendent of the Province of New Munster, to an amount not exceeding the sum of Twenty Thousand Pounds Sterling, for defraying the expenses of forming a Road from Wellington to Wairarapa.
Passed the Superintendent, this eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two.

No. 2. An Ordinance to authorize the borrowing of a sum of money, not exceeding Five Thousand Pounds, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of forming a Road between the Town of Wellington and the Valley of the Hutt.
Whereas it is expedient to authorize the Superintendent of the Province of New Munster to borrow a sum of money, not exceeding Five Thousand Pounds, for the purpose aforesaid:
Be it therefore enacted by the Superintendent of the said Province, with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council thereof, as follows:

It shall be lawful for the Superintendent to borrow, on behalf of the Province of New Munster, such sum or sums of money, not exceeding in the whole the sum of Five Thousand Pounds, as may be required for the purpose of forming a Road between the Town of Wellington and the Valley of the Hutt.

The money so borrowed shall be repaid within a period not exceeding ten years from the date of the borrowing thereof, with interest not exceeding the rate of Six Pounds per Centum per Annum.

It shall be lawful for the Superintendent to issue Debentures for the whole or any part of the said sum of Five Thousand Pounds, bearing interest not exceeding Six Pounds per Centum per Annum, and such Debentures shall be repayable within the period aforesaid.
Passed the Superintendent, this eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two.
