Highway District Proclamation and Tenders




[Province of Wellington]

Shall form and constitute a District for
the purposes of the District Highway’s
Act, namely: The boundary commences
on the bank of the Manawatu River at
the North West corner of Rural Section
No. 530, Township of Foxton, thence
along the Northern boundary of said
Section across a public road, and along
Northern and Eastern boundaries of Sec-
tion No. 529, thence eastward across a
public road, and along Northern and
Eastern boundaries of Section No. 411,
and across a public road to its intersection with Northern boundary line of
Section No. 419, thence along Northern
boundary line of said Section, and of
Sections Nos. 428, 429, 430, 431, 432,
433, and 434, thence along Eastern
boundary of Section No. 434, across a
public road, and along Eastern boundary
of Section No. 535, to the Manawatu
River, thence along the Northern and
Eastern banks of said River, to the
starting point.

As the said District and limits hereby
proclaimed are more particularly de-
lineated and described in the plan drawn
or endorsed hereon and thereon colored
red,

And such Highway District shall be
called the "Foxton Highway District."

Province of Wellington, at
Wellington, this twentieth day
of November, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-seven

WELLINGTON DISTRICT.

In the matter of the "Debtors and
Creditors Act, 1862" and in the
matter of the "Debtors and
Creditors Amendment Act,
1865," and in the matter of the
"Debtors and Creditors Acts
Amendment Act, 1866;" and in
the matter of RICHARD SAMUEL
FRY PARSONS, a Bankrupt.

On Wednesday, the thirteenth day of
November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, upon reading the
petition of Richard Samuel Fry Parsons,
of Wellington, publisher and printer, the
schedules marked B. and C. respectively
thereto annexed, and the affidavits of
Richard Samuel Fry Parsons, Edward
William Mills, and Arthur Dorset, res-
pectively filed therewith, and upon hearing Mr. J. G. Allan, of counsel for the
petitioner, it is ordered that the said
petition be accepted, and that the said
petitioner do come up for hearing at
the Supreme Court House at Wellington,
on Saturday, the fourteenth (14th) day
of December next, at the hour of ten
o’clock in the forenoon, and that a meeting of the Creditors of the said petitioner
be held in the Grand Jury Room, at
Wellington, on Thursday, the fifth day
of December next, at the hour of eleven
o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose
of recommending Trustees for the said
Estate, and the mode of winding up the
same, and that in the meantime Edward
William Mills, of Wellington, be appointed Sequestrator of the Estate and
Effects of the Petitioner. And it is
hereby ordered that this order be a vesting order in accordance with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Act, 1865. And
it is hereby ordered that the person
of the said Petitioner and his goods and
chattels shall be protected from all
process of arrest and execution save only
against any which may be issued against
him under the Writ of Arrest Act, to
the satisfaction of a Judge of this Honorable Court, or of a Registrar thereof in the
absence of such Judge.
