MIDDLE DISTRICT.
In the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862;" and in the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865;" and in the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1866;" and in the matter of the petition of CHARLES HARTMAN, of the City of Wellington, in the Province of Wellington and Colony of New Zealand, merchant, a bankrupt,
ON Friday, the twenty-seventh day of September, 1867, upon reading the Petition of Charles Hartman, of Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, the Schedules marked "A" and "B" respectively thereunto annexed, and the affidavits of the said Charles Hartman and Frederick Augustus Krull, filed therewith, and upon hearing Mr. Pharazyn, of council for the Petitioner, it is ordered that the said Petition be accepted, and that the said Petitioner do come up for hearing at the Supreme Court House at Wellington, on Friday, the twenty-fifth day of October next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, and that a meeting of the Creditors of the said Petitioner be held in the Grand Jury Room at Wellington, on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of October next, at the hour of twelve o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending trustees for the said estate and the mode of winding up the same, and that in the meantime William Robert Edward Browne, Inspector in Bankruptcy, be appointed Sequestrator of the estate and effects of the said Petitioner. And it is hereby ordered that this order be a vesting order in accordance with the provisions of the "Bankruptcy Act, 1865." And it is hereby ordered that the person of the said Petitioner and his goods and chattels shall be protected from all process of arrest and execution, save only against any which may be issued against him under the "Writ of Arrest Act" to the satisfaction of a Judge of this honorable Court. And it is further ordered that notice of this present order be served upon Hooper and Dodson in the said petition mentioned and that the said Hooper and Dodson do have leave to apply to a Judge of this honorable court at Wellington for leave to rescind this present order.
