NOTICE.

DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACTS.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the said Court will be helden at the Court House, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Monday, the 15th day of July instant, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, for the dispatch of all business accruing under the provisions of the “Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862,” and the “Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Acts, 1865 and 1866.”

Enquiry for James Battersby Wray.

THE following notice is inserted at the request of His Honor the Superintendent of Southland:—

“Inquiries having been made respecting a person named James Battersbee Wray, of Hawksbury Mills, Canada West, America, by profession a Civil Engineer, and who is supposed to have been surveying on the Waikiwi Plains, Southland, in September, 1863. Any person who may be able to give any information respecting him is requested to communicate with the Chief Surveyor of Southland, or to the undersigned.”

ELECTION OF WARDENS.

NOTICE has been given to this office, under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that, at a meeting of the Ratepayers of the above District, held on the 1st June, 1867, the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens for the ensuing two years, viz:—

  • T. Frothy
  • D. West
  • A. Ludlam, Chairman.

ELECTION OF WARDENS.

NOTICE has been given to this Office, under the hand of the late Chairman of the Board, that at a meeting of the Ratepayers, held at the School-house on the 22nd June, 1867, the following gentlemen were elected a Board of Wardens for the ensuing two years, viz:—
