DEBTORS AND CREDITORS ACTS.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the said Court will be held at the Court House, Lambton-quay, Wellington, on Thursday, the 8th day of November next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, for the despatch of all Business accruing under the provisions of the Debtors and Creditors Acts 1862 and 1865.

In the matter of the Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862; the Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865; and the Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1866;

In the matter of the Petition of Henry Millward, of the City of Wellington, Builder and Contractor, a bankrupt;
NOTICE is hereby given that on Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of October instant, the said Henry Millward did, with the concurrence of John Compton, of Wellington, aforesaid, Timber Merchant, a creditor of the said Henry Millward to the amount of fifty pounds and upwards, present his Petition to His Honor Alexander James Johnston, Esquire, a Judge of this Honorable Court, for sequestration of the estate and effects of the said Henry Millward, and for relief according to the provisions of the said Acts; that the said Petition was accepted by His Honor, who has appointed the said John Compton sequestrator ad interim of the said estate and effects, and has appointed the eighth day of November next for the hearing of the said Petition; and has further ordered that a meeting of the creditors of the said Henry Millward be held at the Grand Jury Room, within the Supreme Court House, at Wellington, on the thirty-first day of October instant, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of recommending Trustees to be appointed of the said estate and effects, and the mode to be adopted for winding up the said estate.

Making Quarantine Regulations for the Colony of New Zealand.
At the Government House at Auckland, the 12th day of January, 1864.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in the Governor in Council by the “Marine Board Act, 1863,” His Excellency the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby approve of the following Quarantine Regulations, made and issued by the Marine Board for the several Ports and Harbours in the Colony of New Zealand, and doth declare that the same shall be in force from and after the twelfth day of January, 1864.
