of Section No. 20 thence a straight line to the North-west corner of Section No. 85 Porirua Harbour district thence a line to the South-west corner of Section No. 83 thence a line to the North-west corner of Section No. 82 thence along the Western boundary of Sections Nos. 82 and 81 to the South-west corner of Section No. 81 and thence by a straight line across Porirua Harbour to the commencing point.
And also that the said Act shall come into operation within such district on the day of the date hereof.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the P.S. Province of Wellington at Wellington this Fifteenth day of August One thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

Defining the Kaitoke School District.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act of the second Session of the Provincial Council of Wellington No. 6 intituled “An Act to promote the establishment of Common Schools in the Province of Wellington” it is enacted that for the purposes of the said Act it should be lawful for the Superintendent by Proclamation to divide the Province into districts and from time to time to sub-divide such districts and to re-unite any sub-divisions. And also by Proclamation to declare that the said Act should come into operation within such district or sub-division at such time as he may appoint. And whereas it is deemed expedient to proclaim that portion of the Province within the boundaries herein-after set forth to be a district for the purposes of the said Act. Now therefore I Isaac Earl Featherston Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that such portion of the said Province as is comprised within the following boundaries shall form and constitute a district for the purposes of the said Act to be called “The Kaitoke School District” which said district shall be bounded as follows—
Towards the North by the No 2 line of road from the Wanganui River to the dividing line of Sections Nos. 35 and 36 thence Southerly by such dividing line to the South-west corner of Section No. 36
thence Easterly by the dividing line of Sections to the North-east corner of Section No. 107 thence Southerly by the dividing line of Sections to the South-east corner of Section No. 99 thence South-westerly by a straight line to a point on the sea beach known as Wilson’s Bluff thence Westerly by the sea beach to the River Wanganui thence North-easterly and Northerly by the River Wanganui to the No. 2 line of road.
And also that the said Act shall come into operation within such district on the day of the date hereof.
