Diversion of Road—Tunahaere District.

Wellington, Dec. 11, 1865.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Wardens of the Tunahaere Highways District intend to make a diversion of a road through the said district, and have deposited in this office a book plan, &c., and duplicates thereof, at the Wanganui Hotel, in the Town of Wanganui, and have appointed Thursday, the 25th day of January, 1866, at 12 o’clock noon, for a meeting of the Board at the Wanganui Hotel aforesaid to receive any objections to the intended works.

Notice to applicants for Crown Grants in exchange for Certificates under the Native Lands Act, 1865.

General Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 1st November, 1865.

APPLICANTS for Crown Grants in exchange for certificates under the Native Lands Act, 1862 or 1865, are requested to take notice that no Crown Grant will in any such case be issued unless a distinguishing number shall have been previously affixed to the section of block of land comprised in the certificate by the Commissioner of Crown or Waste Lands of the Province in which the land is situate.

It will be the duty of the applicant for a Crown Grant to ascertain that such number is affixed as aforesaid, before applying for a grant.

A PROCLAMATION

Disallowing certain Wellington Acts.

WHEREAS by an Act made and enacted in the Imperial Parliament holden in the fifteenth and sixteenth years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled ‘An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,’ it is amongst other things enacted, that whenever any Bill shall have been assented to by the Superintendent, as in the said Act provided, the Superintendent shall forthwith transmit to the Governor an authentic copy thereof, and it shall be lawful for the Governor, at any time within three months after any such Bill shall have been received by him, to declare by Proclamation his disallowance of such Bill, and that any such disallowance shall make void and annul the same from and after the day of the date of such Proclamation, or any subsequent day to be named therein:
