Election of Provincial Council Member for the Wairarapa District.
ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF WAIRARAPA.
IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "An Act to amend the Law relating to the Election of Superintendents of Provinces, and Members of Provincial Councils, 1858," I, William Jarvis Willis, Esquire, Returning Officer, for the Electoral District of Wairarapa, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the thirteenth day of January, 1864, issued under the hand of Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington for the said Electoral District of Wairarapa; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the School House, Greytown, on the 16th February, 1864, and that the poll will be taken (if necessary) on the 19th February.

At Masterton—The School House.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for general information that a writ for the election of a member to serve in the Provincial Council for the City of Wellington having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of "An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," the Returning Officer has returned the said writ with a certificate that the undermentioned gentleman has been duly elected to serve as member of the said Provincial Council for the said City of Wellington—
