payable at the Port of Wanganui, in the Province of Wellington, and determine the nature of the services for which such rates respectively shall be payable, as follows, viz.
On all vessels entering and quitting the Port—
Three pence (3d) per ton register for directing vessels by signal from the Pilot Station at the Heads across the Bar, and an additional Three pence (3d) per ton register if the services of a Pilot be required within the Heads to the usual anchorage.
And I direct that such rates shall be payable on and after the first day of January next.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition of Arthur Beatson, of Nelson, in the Province of Marlborough, Merchants, and William Wilford McBeth, and William Wilford Watson, of Nelson, in the said Province, Merchants, was made on the 22nd day of December, in the matter of the insolvency of Charles Hackett Morgan, late of Picton, in the Province of Marlborough, Merchant. It is ordered that the said petition be heard before His Honor Mr. Justice Johnston, at the Supreme Court House, Nelson, on Monday, the 23rd day of May, 1864, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.
