PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington,—Do hereby Proclaim and notify that the several Blocks of Land, enumerated in the Schedule hereunto annexed, except a certain Reserve therein mentioned, will be open for purchase and selection at the Crown Land Office, Wellington, on and after Monday, the first day of April, 1861, under the Land Regulations of the 4th day of March, 1853, and the Additional Land Regulations of the 15th day of February, 1855.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fifth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-one.

Schedule.

OTAHUAO BLOCK.—WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.

CONTENTS—3000 Acres.

The boundary commences at the Hakakahia (Collins’ fence) thence along the cut line to Te Pirau; here eastward crossing the Wangaehu River to Patuahinemoki on to Te Purapura; Te Wai-o-te-ngarehu Taumatarai on the Tauheru River; following the course of the Tauheru to Mongamutu; thence westward to Pahikaikariki, Puketawai, the Roto, Te Puna-a-toko, the Wangaehu River, and down the Wangaehu to Nga Kopu a te Rangihaeata; thence in a straight line to Aakakahia.

The following Reserve is made, within the above boundaries, for the Natives and is marked off on the ground.

100 acres for Tamati te Kokori at Tangahanga.

MATAPIHI RANGITUMAU BLOCK,
WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.

CONTENTS—8500 Acres.

The boundary commences at Rotokura on the Kopuaranga River, running north along the boundary of the land sold to the Queen, to Rangitumau, on to Ara-
