wakahaere; crosses the Wangaehu River, and continues in a straight line to Totomaringi Hill; thence eastward to Tokiahikaiti Hill; thence south to the Roto Te Wharepapauma, crosses the Wangaehu and on to the Rua Marama, Taherepo, Te Punanga, Te Awa-a-hinerangi and down the hill to Te Wara; thence into and down the Waitapu River to the Kairangi, and down the Kairangi River to its confluence with the Kopuaranga and up the Kopuaranga to Rotokura.

TE WHANGA BLOCK,—WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.

CONTENTS—1200 Acres.

The boundary commences at the mouth of the Umu-o-te-raunga Creek, up this creek on the boundary of land alienated to the Queen to the Motukahika, on to the Motu-o-Inohi, Te Pio-te-Kahaka, te Motu-o-Tupene; here turning westward to the Moenga-o-te-rangi, Te Mimi-o-te-Pototara, into and down the Ruaranhanga creek to the Tanheru River, down the Tanheru to Te Potahi and on to the mouth of the Umu-o-te-raunga Creek.

KOPUARANGA BLOCK,—WAIRARAPA DISTRICT.

CONTENTS—1700 Acres.

The boundaries commence at the Rotokura on the bank of the Kopuaranga River following the course of this river to Tihore; here it turns running over the hills on the boundary of Crown land to the Maiki; hence eastward and then turning to the south to the Wai-o-whiti and on in a straight line to the Rotokura, where the boundaries close.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, ESQUIRE, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the Regulations in this behalf, Do hereby Proclaim and notify that the several Sections of Land in the Awhea Block, on the East Coast of the Province of Wellington, specified in the Schedule hereto (except such as may be reserved under the provision hereafter mentioned) will be put up for sale by Public Auction, at the Crown Land Office, in the Town of Wellington, on Wednesday, the thirteenth day of March, 1861, at one o’clock in the afternoon.

If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale any of the Sections specified in the said Schedule, or vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fifth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-one.
