CONTRACTS.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 1st Nov., 1860.

SEALED TENDERS, in duplicate, will be received at this office, on or before Tuesday, the 27th instant, at noon, from persons desirous of executing by contract any of the undermentioned Services for the Provincial Government, during the seven months commencing on the 1st of December next.

PROVISIONS, &c.

1—These rations are to be subject to the approval of the Warden of the Gaol.

PRISONER’S RATIONS—WELLINGTON GAOL.

Rations, No 1—at per Ration.

LUNATIC ASYLUM.

Rations at per Ration. The rations to include Beef and Mutton alternately,—to be subject to the approval of the Medical Officer.

Oil … at per Gallon.
Cotton Wick … at per lb.

RATIONS TO PAUPERS.

Rations at per Ration.

RATIONS TO IMMIGRANTS.

Rations—at per Ration, to be supplied daily to the Immigrants at the Immigration Depots at Wellington.

HOSPITAL RATIONS.

To be subject to the approval of the Medical Officer.

Each service should be tendered for separately, and the tender should be endorsed accordingly. Samples of Sugar to accompany each tender.

The Government or the Contractors will be at liberty to terminate any of the before-mentioned contracts, by giving three months’ notice of their desire to do so.
