No charge appears for firing---that being procured from the adjacent forest by the labour of the patients.
During six months of 1857, the whole of 1858, and seven months of 1859, the salary of the Medical Officer was at the rate of £150 per annum, but during the remainder of 1857 and 1859 at the rate of £50 per annum.
If the salary of the Medical Officer had been fixed at the present rate (£50 per annum) for the whole of the above period, the account would have stood as under:--
