PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor Isaac Earl Feath-
erston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Welling-
ton, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the "Public Boards Act, 1856," of the Provincial Council of Wellington, It was enacted that the Superintendent might whenever he should deem fit, by Proclamation, declare that a board of Wardens, for the management of Local Public Works and matters, should be established for any Shire, District, Township, Towns, or Wards to be a District for the purposes of the said Act. And whereas, it is deemed fit to establish a Public Board for the Town of Napier and the suburbs thereof,
Now therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, under the power vested in me, by the Act above referred to, Do hereby Proclaim that a Board of Wardens for the management of Local Public Works and matters, shall be established for the District of the Town of Napier and the Suburbs thereof. The boundaries of which District I declare to be as follows, viz.—
The whole of Scinde Island in the District of Ahuriri, in Hawke’s Bay.
Given under my Hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this Twenty-eighth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven.

WHEREAS by an Act passed in the First Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, entitled, "An Act to make further provisions relative to Fencing within the Districts of the Province." It was en-
acted that the Superintendent should whenever it should appear to him expedient, declare by Proclamation that the said Act should come into operation within any town or district of the Province, and by the same Proclamation declare the limits of the said town or District.
Now, therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby Proclaim and declare that the said above mentioned Act shall come into operation within the district of Napier and the suburbs thereof. The boundaries of which I declare to be as follows, viz:—

WHEREAS by an Act passed in the second session of the Provincial Council of Wellington, intituled "An Act to provide for the Management of the Streets, Sewerage, and Drainage, in Towns and Populous Places, and the preservation of the Health of the Inhabitants thereof," it was enacted that whenever it should appear expedient to the Superintendent so to do, he might by Proclamation declare and direct that a Board of Commissioners should be established for the management of the Streets, the Sewerage, and preservation of the health of the Inhabitants of any Town, portion of a Town, Township, or Populous Place within the Province.
Now therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby Proclaim and Declare, that a Board of Commissioners for the purposes aforesaid, shall be established for the Town of Napier, and the Suburbs thereof, the boundaries
