✨ Navigation and Land Claims
The bearings are South and North—when inside the heads haul sharp round to the westward, keeping close the right hand spit to avoid getting on the flats. Should the flood tide be strong and the vessel not kept under command let go the anchor under foot when inside the heads, bear out chain until she holds.
The Pilot will go outside to vessels when weather permits.
