PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the "District Highways Act, 1856," of the Provincial Council of Wellington, Session III. No. 4, it is among other things enacted that the Superintendent may for the purposes of the said Act divide the province or any part thereof into Districts.
Now therefore I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington aforesaid, in virtue of the power in me vested in this behalf, do hereby Proclaim and Declare that the part of the Province comprised within the boundaries hereinafter set forth shall be a District for the purposes of the said "District Highways Act, 1856," to be called the Hutt Road District, No. 6.
NORTH—The Northern boundary line of Section Number "35" in the Lower Hutt District.
SOUTH—The Southern boundary line of Section Number "32" in the said District.
EAST—The Eastern boundary lines of the said Sections numbers "32" and "35."
WEST—The Western boundary lines of the said Sections Numbers "32" and "35."
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven.

PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, Do Hereby in pursuance of the Regulations in this behalf Proclaim and Notify that the several allotments of land situate in the agricultural reserve in the Rangitiki District and specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed (except such as may be reserved under the provision hereafter mentioned) will be put up for sale by Public Auction at the Land Office, Wellington, on Thursday, the seventh day of January next, at noon.
There is an extensive bush of good Timber within a few miles of the block and purchasers will have Timber Licenses granted to them, to cut timber in the said bush for use on the purchased land.
If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Land Commissioner beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from Sale any of the lots specified in the said Schedule, he will do so.
