NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the General Annual Licensing Meeting of the Justices for the District of Wellington, will be held at this Court, on TUESDAY, the 15th day of April next, at 12 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering Applications for Licenses for the sale of Fermented and Spirituous Liquors, in compliance with the provisions of the Licensing Ordinance, 5 Victoria, Session II., No. 12.

All applications must be lodged with the Clerk to the Bench on or before TUESDAY, the 1st day of April next.

Pasture Licenses.

Crown Land Office,
Wellington, Feb. 25th, 1856.

WITH reference to the 15th Clause of the Amended Land Regulations of June, 1855, it is hereby notified that no licenses have been issued during the past year, in consequence of the option given to persons entitled to Runs, of declaring whether they would take out their Licenses under the Regulations of 1855 or of 1851, extending to the 20th January, 1856.

WITH reference to the preceding Notice, and to the publication of Awarded Runs, dated 15th July 1855, and Notice to Runholders dated 6th December 1855, it is hereby further notified that the persons named in Schedule A hereunto appended, have signified their intention of taking out their Licenses under the Regulations of 1851; and that the persons named in Schedule B, who have not duly signified such intention in writing will have their Licenses issued under the Regulations of 1855.

The Commissioner will hold an open Court at this office, on Monday, the 24th day of March next, for the purpose of hearing and determining all objections by persons named in the said Schedules, of issuing the Licenses, and of receiving payment of all fees and assessments due upon stock or upon acreage, as the case may be. Which Court, all persons interested are required to attend personally, or by agents duly authorized in writing.
