PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, Do hereby PROCLAIM, DECLARE, and DIRECT, that a Board of Commissioners shall be established for the Management of the Streets, the Sewerage, and Drainage, and the Preservation of the Health of the Inhabitants of that portion of the Town of Wellington comprised within the following boundaries, viz. :

North Harbour Section, No. 1.
North East and East, the Harbour.
North West and South, the Reserve known as the Town Belt.
And South East, Sydney Street and Glenbervie Terrace, including such Streets.

And I, the Superintendent aforesaid, by and with the advice of my Executive Council, do further PROCLAIM and DECLARE, that the Board for purposes aforesaid shall consist of nine Commissioners.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Seal of the Province of Wellington, this fifteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six.

to be a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Hutt Bridge, vice Mr. Ludlam, resigned.

Resident Magistrate's Court,
Wellington, March 1, 1856.

A SPECIAL MEETING of the Justices for the District of Wellington will be holden at the Resident Magistrate's Court, at Wellington, on THURSDAY, the 27th day of March, instant, at 12 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of forming the Militia List for this District for the year 1856-57.

NOTICE is hereby given, that
THOMAS HITCHINGS, Esq.,
of the Ahuriri, has duly qualified as a Medical Practitioner under the Act of the Provincial Council, passed on the 14th of January, 1854, entitled, "An Act to establish a Medical Board, and to declare who shall be deemed a qualified Medical Practitioner within the Province."
