HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT has been pleased to direct the publication of the following Return of Runs in the Hawke's Bay District for general information.

SCHEDULE OF APPROVED APPLICATIONS FOR RUNS IN THE HAWKE'S BAY DISTRICT.

Names of Applicants.	Description of Boundaries of Runs.	Estimated extent in Acres.	Stock to be or already placed on the Run.
Walter Ogilvy	South—the Meanee (or Tutackuri) river; East—the Mangaone river; West—a ridge just below Ikarau, thence a gulley northward to the Waiiti river, which divides into two branches not of Ikarau, thence by the northern branch of that river northwesterly to the northern boundary, a line from the Waiiti to the confluence of the Mangaone with the stream running S.W. from the Okapu drawn so as to include 12,000 acres.	12,000 acres; rugged fern hills.	Between 6 and 700 sheep.
Matthew Hill	South—the Meanee (Tutackuri) river; East—Mr. Ogilvy's western boundary; West and North—a line from the Meanee river nearly opposite Rangikahua running north and east to the north-west corner of Mr. Ogilvy's run so as to include about 12,000 acres.	12,000 acres; rugged fern hills.	Between 5 and 600 ewes.
