Dillon Bell, late a Member for the said Districts, in the said Council, who has resigned his seat in the said Council.
Now, therefore, I, the said HENRY ST. HILL, Returning Officer for the "Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay Districts" aforesaid, do hereby in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that a public meeting of the Electors of the Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay Districts, will be holden at the residence of Mr. Thomas Kempton, situated at Grey Town, in the Wairarapa Valley, on Thursday the twenty-first day of August next, at noon, for the purpose of nominating one person to serve as a Member for the "Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay Districts" in the said Council, in the place of the said Francis Dillon Bell, and in the event of a poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such polling shall take place at the said residence of the said Thomas Kempton, at Grey Town aforesaid, and at the several polling places in the said Districts, on Thursday, the fourth day of September next; the Voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said day, and to close at four o'clock in the afternoon of the said day.

WHEREAS, a Writ under the hand of ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, and under the public seal of the Province, bearing date the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six, hath been directed to me, HENRY ST. HILL, Esq., Returning Officer for the "City of Wellington," requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the voters duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, and in manner and form by law prescribed, five persons to serve as additional members for the "City of Wellington," in the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington,
Now, therefore, I, the said HENRY ST. HILL, Returning Officer for the "City of Wellington" aforesaid, and in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that a public meeting of the Electors of the City of Wellington aforesaid, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate's court, at Wellington aforesaid, on Thursday, the fourteenth day of August next, at noon, for the purpose of nomi-nating five persons to serve as additional members for the "City of Wellington," in the said Council; and, in the event of a poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such polling shall take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court, at Wellington aforesaid, on Friday, the fifteenth day of August next, the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said day, and to close at four o'clock in the afternoon of the said day.

HILL, Esquire, Returning Officer for the "Hutt District," requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the Voters duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, and in manner and form by law prescribed, one person to serve as an additional member for the "Hutt District," in the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington,
Now, therefore, I, the said HENRY ST. HILL, Returning Officer for the "Hutt District" aforesaid, do hereby, in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that a public meeting of the Electors of the Hutt District will be holden at the Mechanics' Institute, situate at the Hutt aforesaid, on WEDNESDAY, the twentieth day of August next, at noon, for the purpose of nominating one person to serve as an additional member for the "Hutt District" in the said Council; and in the event of a poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such polling shall take place at the Mechanics' Institute aforesaid, and at the several polling places in the said District, on MONDAY, the twenty-fifth day of August next; the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said day, and to close at four o'clock in the afternoon of the said day.
