Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 20th June, 1855.

SEALED TENDERS, in duplicate,
will be received at this office, on or
before the 10th August next, for the un-
determined supplies for the Welling-
ton Gaol and Colonial Hospital, for
twelve months from 1st September, 1855.

PRISONERS’ RATIONS—WELLINGTON GAOL.

A copy of the established scale of
rations may be obtained at the sheriff’s
office.

Hospital stores and provisions for
natives.

Beef, mutton, arrowroot, sago,
rice, tea, sugar, oatmeal, salt, yel-
low soap, pearl barley, mixed vege-
tables, potatoes, loaf sugar, treacle, / per lb.
bread, honey, mustard, bright su-
gar and lard.

The whole of which articles are to be
subject to the approval of the Colonial
Surgeon.

The Government or Contractors will
be at liberty to terminate the above men-
tioned contracts by giving three months
notice of their desire to do so.
