tions for the transfer of Publicans’ Li-
censes.

undervaluation, will be sold by Public Auc-

IN pursuance of the Order of this
honorable Court made in this cause,
there will be exposed for sale by Public
Auction, at Wellington, within the Sale
Rooms of Messrs. Bethune & Hunter,
Lambton-quay, on Thursday, the 6th day
of September next, at 12 o’clock at noon,
that Vessel or Brigantine called the
Triumph, of Sydney, of the burthen of
100 tons, Henry Chapman, Master, as
she now lies in the Harbor at Welling-
ton, with all and singular her masts,
sails, yards, anchors, cables, ropes,
tackle, apparel, and furniture, belonging
or appertaining to said Vessel.

NOTICE.
Compensation Commission.
THE COMMISSIONERS appointed
under the Act of the Provincial
Council, Session II, No. 12, to enquire
into certain alleged claims for Compen-
sation under certain contracts of the New
Zealand Company, and for losses sus-
tained during the native disturbances,
having held a Court, for the purpose of
receiving and enquiring into claims under
the said Act in the several districts,
agreeably to their notice—hereby notify
to persons proposing to prefer claims for
Compensation as aforesaid, but who, from
absence or otherwise have been unable to
attend such Court, that claims will be re-
ceived by any one of the Commissioners,
up to the thirty first day of December,
in this present year.
Such claim to set forth the name, and
place of abode of claimant.

was a passenger, time of arrival in the
Colony.
Whether owner or occupier of land.

N.B.—By the 5th Clause of the above
mentioned Act, no claim shall be enter-
tained by the said Commissioners, except
the same be sent to them within six
months from the publication of a notice
by the Commissioners, that they are
ready to receive and enquire into claims
under this Act.
