PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHER-
STON, ESQUIRE, Superintendent of
the Province of Wellington,
WHEREAS by an Act of the Provin-
cial Council, of the Province, Ses-
sion II., No. 3, entitled "An Act to
amend the Law relating to Coroners,"
It was among other things Enacted,
"That the Superintendent should define,
from time to time, divide and alter the
Districts to which Coroners should be
assigned"; And by a Proclamation issued
under the Seal of the said Province, the
twelfth day of July last, the said Province
was for the purposes of the said Act
divided as therein mentioned, and the
Wellington District was described as
follows:—"The Wellington District com-
prises the Town of Wellington and the
Wellington Country Districts, namely,—
The several districts of Wade's Town,
Kai Warra Warra, the Harbour as far as
the Koro Koro Stream, Ohiro, Karori,
Makara, Town, Watts' Peninsula, Ohariu,
Tukapu, Horokiwi, Porirua, the country
between the Porirua District and the
Manawatu river, and the Islands of
Kapiti and Mana;" And Whereas it
is expedient to divide such District:
Therefore, I, the said Isaac Earl Feather-
ston, Superintendent of the said Province
of Wellington, Do hereby declare that
the said District of Wellington shall be
divided into Two Districts, namely—
"The Wellington District," and the
"Porirua District," and the respective
boundaries thereof be as follows, namely
—The "Wellington District" comprises
the Town of Wellington and the Districts
of Wade's Town, Kai Warra Warra, the
Harbour as far the Koro Koro Stream,
Ohiro, Karori, Makara, Town, Evans' Bay,
and Watts' Peninsula; The Porirua Dis-
trict, comprises the Districts of Ohariu,
