HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT
directs it to be notified for general information, that the following arrangements have been made for the conveyance of the mail between Wellington and Wanganui;—to take effect, on Monday, the 6th February next.

The Mail will leave Wellington every Monday, at 4 p.m., and will arrive at Wanganui on the Wednesday following at 3 p.m.

It will leave Wanganui every Thursday at 3 p.m., and will reach Wellington on the Saturday at noon.

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court, for the dispatch of Criminal Business, will be holden at the Court House, Wellington, on Wednesday, the first day of March next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon; and that a Sitting for the dispatch of Civil Business will be holden at the Court House on Thursday, the seventh day of March next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which times and place all persons under recognizance to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, SOUTHERN DISTRICT.

In the Estate of WILLIAM B. CHAMBERLAIN, deceased Intestate.

PURSUANT to the Rule of this honorable Court, the Creditors of the above named deceased are, on or before the 20th day of April next, to come in and prove their debts before Robert Rodger Strang, Esq., Registrar of the said Court, at his office in the Court House, Wellington, or in default thereof, they will be peremptorily excluded from all benefit arising from the said Estate.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Pound has been erected on the southern side of Sydney Street, in the City of Wellington, and that his Honor the Superintendent has appointed the same to be a Public Pound for the City of Wellington, and the adjoining districts of Karori, Ohiro, the Town District, the Hutt Road as far as Ngahauranga, and the Porirua Road as far as the Branch Road to Ohariu.

Notice is also given, that his Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint BENJAMIN EGLINTON Keeper of such Pound.

A SPECIAL Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for the Province of Wellington will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Wellington, on Thursday, the 2nd day of February next, at 1 o’clock, for the purpose of forming a Jury List for the year 1854.
