New Zealand Company’s Land Claims
Commission Office,
Wellington, Oct. 10th, 1854.
WHEREAS, by reason of the Surveys being still incomplete in certain districts where land is held under title of the New Zealand Company, Grants have not been issued to many Claimants who have by duly published Reports of the Commissioner been declared entitled thereto, and difficulties have frequently arisen in the way of such Claimant dealing with their land on account of the boundaries thereof not being accurately defined;
Notice is Hereby Given, that in any case in which the boundaries of land to be granted to a Claimant, in pursuance of such Report, cannot be accurately defined upon application at this Office, a Conveyance by such Claimant of his interest in the land to another person, (providing it contain a recital of the Report, and be at once deposited with the Commissioner, with a request from the Vendor that the Grant may be issued to the Vendee), will be duly recorded in this Office, and the grant prepared in the name of such Vendee accordingly, as the person properly entitled to the same, under title of the New Zealand Company.

Notice is Hereby Given, that the two Blocks hereinafter described have been reserved for that purpose, and that until further notice no applications for selection there will be received at this office. A plan of the reserved land may be seen on and after Tuesday, 17th October.
