PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Wellington.

WHEREAS an Act was passed in the
Provincial Council of the said Province, (Session I. No. 13,) for the purpose of making further and other provisions relative to Fencing within the
Province, and by the said Act it is enacted that the Superintendent, whenever it
shall appear to him expedient so to do,
may by Proclamation declare that the
said Act shall come into operation within
any Town or District of the Province,
and by the same Proclamation declare
the limits of such Town or District, And
WHEREAS it appears expedient to me
that the said Act should be brought into
operation within the Town of Wanganui,
NOW THEREFORE I, the said Isaac Earl
Featherston, Superintendent of the
Province of Wellington, by virtue of the
authority in me vested as aforesaid in
this behalf, Do Hereby Proclaim and
Declare that the said Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, Sess. I. No. 13, intituled "An
Act to make further provisions relative
to Fencing within the districts of the
Province," shall come into operation
within the

Town of Wanganui,
in the said Province.

And I Do Hereby also Declare,
that the limits of the said Town for the
purposes aforesaid, shall be the boundaries thereof as described in the Government plan of the same place.

Given under my hand, and issued
under the Public Seal of the
Province of Wellington, at Wellington, the twenty-seventh day
of October, one thousand eight
hundred and fifty-four.
