"The New Plymouth Harbor Board Ordinance, 1875,"
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

IT is notified for general information that
The Egmont Rifle Volunteers
having been disbanded, the undermentioned gentlemen have ceased to hold the rank of officers in the Volunteer Force; their commissions having, under the provisions of "The Volunteer Act, 1865," lapsed,—
John Ellis, Esq., late Lieutenant, Egmont Rifle Volunteers.
Allan Shaw Douglas, Esq., late Ensign, Egmont Rifle Volunteers.

THE following Ordinance, passed by the Provincial Council, and assented to by the Superintendent of Taranaki on behalf of the Governor, intituled
"The Fencing Ordinance, 1875,"
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance in respect of the same.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to confirm the appointment by His Honor the Superintendent of Taranaki, of
WILLIAM MORGAN CROMPTON, Esq.,
and
WILLIAM NEILSON SYME, Esq.,
as Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board for the Province of Taranaki.

PURSUANT to the Regulations for the sale, disposal, and occupation of lands taken under the provisions of "The New Zealand Settlements Amendment and Continuance Act, 1865," and which said Regulations are contained in the Schedule to an Order in Council made and issued on the 11th day of May, 1871, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 1st June in the same year, it is hereby notified that the parcel of land specified in the Schedule hereto, and which land was, on the 13th day of August, 1874, reserved for the purpose therein mentioned, will, on the expiration of three calendar months from the publication of this notice, be withdrawn from such reservation.
