FOOTPATH TO BE PROCLAIMED.

New Plymouth, 24th April, 1874.
IN exercise of the authority given by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled the “Municipal Police Ordinance, 1872,” I, William Morgan Crompton, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby give notice and declare that the undermentioned Footpath shall henceforth be deemed and taken to be a Public Footpath within the meaning of an Ordinance of the Lieutenant-Governor of New Zealand, and of the Legislative Council thereof, intituled “An Ordinance to provide for the protection of Footpaths in the Colony of New Zealand,” and shall be protected accordingly.

IN accordance with the powers to me delegated by His Excellency the Governor under “The Lunatics Act, 1868,” I, Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, hereby proclaim the building abutting on the Surgery, east end of the Provincial Hospital, to be a Lunatic Asylum for the Province of Taranaki.
