Rates to be imposed in any District.
Now therefore I, William Morgan Crompton, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, appoint that the minimum rate to be imposed in all the Districts heretofore constituted under the above recited Ordinance shall be threepence per acre for the ensuing year, from the 1st July, 1873, to the 30th June, 1874, excepting in Districts 18, 24, 25, and 26, in which the minimum rate shall be twopence per acre for the same period. And I hereby further appoint that General Meetings of Ratepayers in the said districts shall be held in the month of July next ensuing, as follows:—

1st (or Bell) Road District—
At the Bell Block School-house, on Tuesday, the 1st day of July next, at three, p.m.

2nd (or Henui) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Tuesday, the 1st day of July next, at Three, p.m.

3rd (or Lower Mangorei) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 5th day of July next, at Two, p.m.

4th (or Carrington) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 5th day of July next, at Two, p.m.

5th (or Frandiho) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 12th day of July next, at Two, p.m.

6th (or Barrett) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 19th day of July next, at One, p.m.

7th (or Upper Hurford) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 19th day of July next, at Three, p.m.

8th (or Tataraimaka) Road District—
At the Tataraimaka School-house, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at Three, p.m.

9th (or Omata) Road District—

10th (or Upper Mangorei) Road District—
At Mr. Honor’s house, Mangorei, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at One, p.m.

11th (or Huirangi) Road District—

12th (or Waiwhakaiho) Road District—

17th (or Elliot) Road District—

18th (or Clifton) Road District—
At the School-house, Waitara, on Tuesday, the 15th day of July next, at Twelve, noon.

19th (or Urenui) Road District—
At Capt. Good’s Redoubt, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at Two, p.m.

20th (or Hua) Road District—
At the Taranaki Institute, on Saturday, the 26th day of July next, at Three, p.m.

21st (or Mataitawa) Road District—
At the Mataitawa Blockhouse, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at Twelve, noon.

22nd (or Waitara West) Road District—
At the Bell Block School-house, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at Three, p.m.

23rd (or Waitara East) Road District—
At Mr. John Elliot’s house, Waitara, on Monday, the 14th day of July next, at Twelve, noon.

24th (or Hawera) Road District—
