PATEA DISTRICT ROAD RATES.

New Plymouth, 2nd June, 1873.
NOTICE is hereby given that James Hirst having been appointed, with the approval of the Provincial Council, to receive the road rates for the 24th and 25th districts, imposed for six months of 1872-3, the same must be paid to him at his office in Carlyle, between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. on Wednesday 11th, or Saturday 14th instant, or on either of the two following Wednesdays or Saturdays at the same time and place; should any sums then remain unpaid they must be remitted forthwith to the Provincial Treasurer at New Plymouth.
