ROADS AND BRIDGES.
NOTICE
Constituting Nos. 23, 25, and 26 Districts under the "Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858."

New Plymouth, June 25, 1872.
WHEREAS by the 2nd clause of the "Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858," it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, amongst other things, to constitute Districts within which the provisions of the said Ordinance shall be in force. Provided that no such notice shall at any time be published without the previous approval of the Provincial Council. Now therefore I, Frederic Aloysius Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki,
in exercise of the before recited authority, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, constitute the undermentioned blocks of land to be Districts Nos. 24, 25, and 26, under the provisions of the said recited Ordinance:
District No. 24.
The block of land bounded towards the west by the Waingongoro River, towards the north by the northern boundary of confiscated land, towards the east by a river known as the Oeoanga and also the Manawapou River, and towards the south by the sea coast, be constituted a Road District under the title of the Hawera or No. 24 Road District.
District No. 25.
