ROADS AND BRIDGES ORDINANCE, 1858.

NOTICE
Revoking notice constituting No. 13 Road District.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, July 23, 1868.

WHEREAS by the 2nd clause of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, amongst other things, to constitute Districts within which the provisions of the said Ordinance shall be in force, and in like manner to revoke the notice by which any such District shall have been constituted. Now, therefore, I, HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, in exercise of the before recited authority, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, revoke the notice dated April 25, 1867, and published in the Government Gazette of the Province, No. 8, 1867, as relates to the constitution of the Thirteenth Road District, and in lieu thereof I do hereby constitute the following District for the purposes of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” namely:—

13th (or Tarurutangi) Road District.

That block of land bounded on the north and western sides by the Mangoraka River from the eastern boundary line of the Tarurutangi block to the southern boundary of Section 140 of the Hua and Waiwakaiho block, thence by a line extended due east to the Waiongana River, thence by the said river to the said boundary of the Tarurutangi block, thence by the said line to the Mangoraka River.
