BRANDING OF CATTLE ORDI.

NOTICE
Revoking Notice constituting the boundaries of No. 4 Cattle District, and constituting No. 8 Cattle District.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, November 26, 1867.

WHEREAS by the 15th clause of the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, from time to time, by notice in the Government Gazette of the Province, to constitute Districts for the purposes of the said Ordinance, and in like manner to extend, contract, or alter the boundaries of any such District, and to revoke the notice by which any such District shall have been constituted:

Now therefore, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby revoke the Notice dated 7th October, 1867, and published in the Government Gazette No. 15, 1867, constituting No. 8 Cattle District.

ROADS AND BRIDGES.

NOTICE
Appointing a minimum Rate for No. 21 Road District.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, November 28, 1867.

WHEREAS by the 13th clause of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” it is provided that the minimum rate to be imposed in any Rural District shall not be less than 6d. per acre. And whereas by the 43th clause of the said Ordinance, power is given to the Superintendent, with the approval of the Provincial Council, by notice to be published in the Government Gazette, to alter the minimum rate or rates to be imposed in one or more districts:

Now therefore, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, alter the minimum rate of Sixpence to Threepence for the 21st Road District.
