NOTICE.
Contracting boundaries of No. 4 Cattle District, and constituting No. 8 Cattle District.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, October 7, 1867.
WHEREAS by the 15th clause of the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, from time to time, by notice in the Government Gazette of the Province, to constitute Districts for the purposes of the said Ordinance, and in like manner to extend, contract, or alter the boundaries of any such District, and to revoke the notice by which any such District shall have been constituted. Now therefore, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby contract the boundaries of No. 4 Cattle District as constituted by notice dated the 31st August, 1865, and published in the Government Gazette of the Province, No. 22, 1865, by separating from the said District all those lands situated in the Seventh or Upper Hurford Road District, and I hereby constitute the said lands a separate Cattle District as follows:
No. 8 CATTLE DISTRICT.
