Master or person in charge of the landing-place may point out, and for neglecting or refusing to do so he shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds.
PROCLAMATION
By His Honor Henry Robert Richmond,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki.
WHEREAS in the Fifteenth Session of the Provincial Council of Taranaki, held in the twenty-ninth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, an Ordinance was passed, intituled the “Town Board of New Plymouth Endowment Ordinance, 1867,” and whereas the said Ordinance was, on the 28th day of June, 1867, presented to me for the assent of His Excellency the Governor, and was then reserved by me for the signification of His Excellency’s pleasure thereon, and whereas His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the said Ordinance. Now I do hereby proclaim that His Excellency Sir George Grey, the Governor of New Zealand, has been pleased to assent to the said Ordinance, and that I received the signification of His Excellency’s assent on the 24th day of July, 1867.
Given under my hand at New Plymouth, this twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

NOTICE
Appointing time for payment of Road Rates
for the 19th (or Urenui) Road District,
for the year 1866-7.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, August 5, 1867.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” I hereby appoint that the rate of Threepence per acre imposed on all lands within the 19th (or Urenui) Road District at a General Meeting of the Electors duly held on the 14th February, 1867, shall be paid at the Provincial Treasury, Mount Eliot, on the 5th August, 1867.
