hereby, with the approval of the Provincial
Council, appoint that the minimum
rate to be imposed in all the Districts
hitherto constituted under the above re-
cited Ordinance shall be Three Pence
per acre. And I hereby further appoint
that the month for the holding of
General Meetings of all the said Districts
shall be the month of August, and that
such General Meetings shall be held
in the month of August next ensuing, as
follows:—

At the Bell Block Inn, on Thursday,
the 1st day of August next, at 3 p.m.

2nd (or Henui) Road District.
At the Taranaki Institute, on Friday,
the 2nd day of August next, at 3 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given to all Naval
and Military Settlers to whom Land
Orders have been issued under “The
Waste Lands Act, 1858,” granting them
land at the expiration of five years, that
they will be required before obtaining a
Crown Grant, to make a declaration before
a Magistrate or a Justice of the Peace, that they
have resided in the Province of Taranaki not
less altogether than forty-eight months out
of the said five years.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Circuit
Court of the Supreme Court for the
Northern District of New Zealand, for the
despatch of Civil and Criminal business
will be holden in the Court House, at the
Taranaki Institute, Brougham street, New
Plymouth, on Saturday, the 20th day of
July next, at Eleven o’clock in the fore-
noon, or as soon after as may be con-
venient, at which time and place all persons
bound by recognizances to appear as
prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants, are
required to give their attendance.
